Climbed Mount Washington yesterday. The weather was warm (30 degrees or so) but windy, maybe 50mph with the highest gusts within feet of the true summit. You could stand unassisted on the summit without being blown over but it was close.. We summited in the afternoon as it was getting foggy; we had to abandon our plans to ski the east snowfield due to visibility (and legs that were turning into popsicles), and skied out the auto road instead.

Note to self: brand new mountain hardwear phantom jackets do not mix with ice axe spikes
