thanks a lot for the suggestions. i checked out stony point and it was awesome, though a little hot.

one more question though. how about beach side bouldering? i paged through the guidebook, and the stuff in orange county looked pretty cool. how about point mugu-is that worth a trip? do you know of anything a little less urban further up the coast that is good?

i've always thought bouldering with the ocean as a backgrop would be about the coolest thing ever.
