In the Best Single Route thread, Murphy'sLaw says he agrees that
...if you haven't done p2 of Birdland, then you haven't done Birdland...
This got me wondering about other climbs this might be said of (he mentioned MF too).
So what do you think---if you haven't done pitch 2 (and 3?) of _____, then you haven't done it. What climbs would you fill in here?
I'll kick it off with one more: Broken Sling.
(No doubt, some master of humor will say something like High Exposure. The question is about climbs that are often rappelled after the first pitch.)

Middle Earth
Criss Cross
Son of Easy O
Baby
Something Interesting
A little less clear cut are those where P1 is a good climb on it's own at a lower grade than the overall route, such as:
Falled On Account of Strain
Erect Direction
Modern Times
Hawk
But I'd think most folks are honest enough with themselves to realize that if they only did P1 of these and not the money pitch, then they haven't done the route. That's different than the other routes mentioned where P2/P3 are of similar character and difficulty of P1.

Airy Aria.
Yeah, the first pitch is harder. And the first pitch is nice. And it's easy to rap from the bolts. But the "Airy" is all about the second pitch: nice moves, great exposure, really exciting. People who rap after p1 don't know what they're missing!
And I'll second Mike on Snooky's.

Strat now edges out smike for the humor award. rg might disqualify this on a technicality, however, with the insistance that it be a climb people customarily rap off of after one pitch: Customarily nobody ever climbs 50-50. To my shame, I must admit that between 1979 and the present, I have done the climb twice. All of it.

Ya it was sublet humor on the 1st couple Ive listed, but not Erect Direction, since Ive lead P1 a few times and since I still havent the balls to lead P2, I cant say Ive done it. (no matter how stellar I think P1 is)

Me too. So who's done the second pitch and can vouch for this? Is the climbing above really that good?

The second pitch is some kind of 5.easy. Nothing the matter with it, but way out of the leagues of the first pitches. In the old days, we used to do it and then solo down the Bunny (to link with the free-soloing thread). Lotsa luck trying that nowadays.
In the modern genre, the second pitch doesn't come close to "you haven't done it unless" standards.

The Spring, either via the original finish to the left of P1 (scary) or straight up after P1 (the logical line). When I first did The Spring, P1 didn't even count. It was P2 that everyone talked about.
Dana reminded me of P2 of Criss. Had forgotten there was a P2. It's annoyingly hard.
Thinking...there are some hard second pitches or variations to second pitches that don't get done, but aren't particularly worth doing. P2 of Roseland is 5.9 I think, but junky. There's that P2 Bragg variation to the Freeway...
How about P2 and P3 of Elder Cleavage? Wild Horses, Raunchy, Gory Thumb. Those all have pretty hard 2nd pitches that are rarely done.
Without looking at a guide, that's the best I can do. My Gunks memory is pretty pathetic.

I thought p2 was pretty cool. It had a tenuous open-book mantle type move that I don't get a lot of in the Gunks. P3 was, um, yeah, kinda junky.
