check out their website - www.killington.com - they got 29 inches of snow last week, and fired up the guns They were open from top to bottom this past weekend! Damn, wish I knew that on Friday. Forecasted warm temps this week, however, have them closed until the next big chill.

Looks like they're making good on their threat to reopen this weekend. I think I'm going.

Love 'em or hate 'em (I'm in the former category), nobody in Vermont blows more snow than Killington. They are not shy about opening the guns and leaving them open. I wish I could go this weekend. Gonna try to get in a day or two over the Thanksgiving holiday.

They all embellish a little bit, but fortunately, there's lots of independent sources out there. I'm hooked on the firsttracksonline.com site that MarcC posted in another thread. This holiday weekend is shaping up to be a sweet one.

Try Vermont's No Bull ski report. The only independent ski report:

web page

BTW, the biggest liar in the Hudson Valley is Laslo over at Ski Platty. That place is sweet, but the secrect is definitely out. The woods over there get tracked out faster than J-Hole.
