Are you sure those pictures are the Ridge? The captions on a couple of them read:

Aerial view of the quartzite cliffs of Skytop at the Shawangunks

And we all know from the geology lesson we had a week or so back the the Gunks aren't made of quartzite.

Very nice picture of Laurel Knob though - now I see why it was such prize for the CCC and John Myers.

A nice prize indeed, for the handful of climbers that have the balls and the skills to climb there. My source tells me it's all hard, super-scary runout climbing (which is pretty typical of a lot of NC climbing).
