I think it is a Clog hex, but I've never really seen one so I'm not sure. It's shorter lengthwise than a comparable size BD (it would be about a #9) or Metolius. Also, there's only a single large hole in the bottom.

Yep, and using the term hex pretty liberally.

Not very helpful. That describes pretty much Mike's entire rack.

That may be, but I bet I can re-sell it there at a handsome profit.

And you'll probably be the suck, I mean the lucky individual who buys it.

I can see the Ebay add now:

I must have for all new leaders building their 1st rack. Stronger, lighter, and easier to use then conventional cams. No messing with cam triggers, broken cam wires or pages of instructions on cam use and placement. These things are hot, get them while supplies last.

Also Free pink tri cam for the 1st 10 orders!

Vintage, you forgot to say "vintage".

The word Vintage = instant double of the price on EBay.

It is a Clog Cog, not a hex! - if you thread them longitudinally, you can transmit rotational power and amuse yourself while belaying slow leaders. I don't ever remember seeing them as large as the one you showed.
