Reading an earlier post I found mention of "stone crusade." I am headed to socorro (NM) again and i would love to find a GOOD guide to the area. The falcon guide blurb is pretty useless. Is "stone crusade" a guide that is available somewhere? On-sighting, toproping and stumbling around boulders is fun but it would be nice to have some info.

Stone Crusade was a book about the history of bouldering in America. Written by John Sherman. It is not a guidebook, but is well worth reading. It has small sections on particularly historical or significant bouldering areas throughout the country.
