The little object inside the climbers' (Murphy'sLaw) right foot should give this one away:

I'm stumped. Sente? Thin Slabs? Neither seems quite right.

It's the base of the Arrow wall, probably start of Three Doves if it is not Sente (which is my first choice).

Sente.

Good stuff. I am unfamiliar with it. Is it South End of Bayards near Millbrook? The brilliant white rock makes me thinks it is in Minnewaska territory near the ravine, though....

How do you get such nice pictures uploaded when the limit is 5K? It won't take any picture I try to upload.

I use ImageShack (www.imageshack.com).

The GDC gallery is worthless because of its storage limits.

You can see what people are using by right-clicking the photo and inspecting the Properties option. I like www.tinypic.com. Simple, bare bones, no fuss. Just go to there and upload. Only for shots 250k and less, which is no problem for this type of posting.

You do have to keep a record of your posts, since the site provides no dedicated space for your stuff.

I'm stumped. Sente?

Bingo! The bolt near his foot should give it away (hard to see with this resolution though!).

Shooting it with a longer lens really does (mildly) distort (compress) the image, makes it disconcerting and adds some uncertainty. Looks like maybe 70 - 85m?? Good color palettes on the shots. Especially if they aren't tweaked (and they look like they are not).

Aha!

Good Ole Bonticou! Haven't been there since 94! when I put up a route with Tom Tost and Suzanne and we called it The Guillotine because of this incredible loose blade that Suzanne pulled down and almost killed us and chopped the damn rope!

Fun times!

Everytime I get back up there I always seem to end up with partners that need to climb in the Trapps so I have forgotten much of the outerlying areas and how cool they are.

I'm a lousy photog! But yeah, the digital was zoomed. I'm just a point and click amateur.

Looking at this shot does make me want to go climb Sente again soon though. I just really enjoy that balancy face.
