Sure we like climbing pics. In addition to the threads that RG mentioned, consider also the discussions surrounding the resale of Dick Dumais’ Gunks photo book and its recent reissue.

These photos have given me a chance to consider a couple of potential on-sights, in a visually complementary way to reading new route descriptions in the Gray Dick. Those shots of Beatle Brow Bulge and Stannard’s Roof are compelling. Others, like the Trapped like a Rat photo, show me that I can walk past a route countless times, yet I don’t see it like I did that one time I led it and when trying to compare that memory to the immediate features captured in a still.

Bring out some more!
