why is this the first mention of needing a new PHP programmer? you'll never find anyone without a little advertising!

Pretty much looks like anything posted to this site over the last 5 days is now gone...including PM's (This is when the new site came up when you clicked on threads)
You might need a Php programmer, but what appears to be a far more evident issue at hand is you need a Q/A staging platform to play with all this stuff before you toss code out on your public (Hopefully revenue making) site. Sponsors (or clients in my case) don't take kindly to bad code in production environments.
If you need any resources let me know, I have 5 programmers on staff, might be able to convince one to do some side work.

Where is the new board? I saw it late last night (actually it was really, really early this morning). Was it just a test? I haven't logged in for a few days so maybe it was around for a bit.
Colors were different, there were some navigational aids that showed the directory tree of the forum you were posting in... that's about all I remember.

Once again, like the last ill-fated update, a release with inadequate testing followed by apologies: Sorry for the confusion over the last couple of days here. We had intended to install this new forum software this past w/e, but little did we know that the install scripts not only copied all the old files, but also changed all the links in the old forum to the new one! Highly professional. BTW, a really solid development process wouldn't even need a "Bugs" forum.

Looks like the unread flag is kind of coming back. I'm hoping once I'm using the same forum every day that it's going to work. I really only need two things out of a forum: the ability to turn off signatures and avatars (check) and a way to jump to the first unread post (maybe check).
It's weird that all the PMs I ever sent have reappeared though.

If Microsoft can't do bug-free software, what do you expect here?
You're right of course (but it's arguable that MS actually has a solid development process. In an ideal world, the dev process would be such that all bugs were caught during QC/QA.) The issue here is really one of poor implementation. A lot of the things people squawked about could have been caught by process alone and aren't really bugs as such.

I just had the unread flag issue, a few threads claimed to have unread messages {red in parens} but when I opened those threads there wasn't anything I hadn't already red.

This is another thread in need of a decent burial. Then why did you just resurrect it after a year of slumber?

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=16616951I think this was already posted perhaps by me, Mark Shapiro argues well that the EUs more stringent consumer and ecological controls are related to their governments participation in their health care system, and that industry rules here despite the damage it causes ecologically and health-wise. One example was the types of plastic that the EU has banned but we allow. Please correct me if I am wrong: Most older doctors worked under fee for service and resent the fact that insurance companies and/or government squeeze them minimal fees. Often they correctly feel that lower fees correlate with lower quality healthcare. Doctors under fee for service are learning how to compensate for lower fess by limiting visit times and requiring more visits to receive a full treatment. At the same time many more doctors are employed by hospitals these days and those doctors work for salaries that after being corrected for inflation are in general smaller than what older doctors would have expected to earn. In short things are changing slowly regardless of what payer system we are under.

Uh, didn't you mean to post this over in that thread in AAG that has morphed into a discussion of health care?
