I love my havocs as well - i use them for touring and resort skiing. I wish I had an ultralight touring setup to complement them, but when I was touring in mid-thigh deep powder on friday I was glad for the width.
If you wait a year, some of the new skis BD is bringing out ski a whole lot better than what they have had in the past. I've been using some of the prototypes, and i've been very impressed. My havocs are kinda chattery at really high speeds, but the new model havoc fixes that.
