Hi Evan,
I like the changes to the PM system, but, I hate the fact that all PM's have been restored since 2003. Can you magically make my PM's disappear as I am not going to both going page by page to delete them.
Thanks

Sure. Can we get a consensus of how far I should go back in deleting? Last time I did this, I received many complaints.

It may make me unpopular here, but my opinion is that those too lazy to selectively delete messages might as well take the easy way out and flag deletion of all.

This should probably be done on a user by user basis rather than a global action. Of course a couple of features that could help would be a "delete all PMs" button and a "save (or download) all/selected PMs to a text file".

At the bottom of the message list there are Check All and Delete Checked rectangles. Mouseclicking these in that sequence will do the trick. A save-all-to-textfile function might be a useful feature for some.

Is there any way for you to mass-delete the ones that just appeared since this last version? No one's going to miss them since we never knew we had them. I already did mine but I only had a few pages.

But that only applies to the currently viewed page of PMs. If you had 25 pages, you'd get to do that 24 more times. I was suggesting a global function to delete all your PMs in a single operation.
