Anyone know about NY State teaching alternate route programs for those who haven't done a teaching program....?

Get yourself to the NY State Education Department website. NYSED.state.ny.gov or something similar. Then find the part about Teacher Certification. There are at least a couple alternative routes. I did Transition B but I hear there is now a Trans. C program. PM me if you want more details. It's only for a few subject areas. The next step is to find out which colleges in your area offer it. I went Mt Saint Mary. Pace also has a program IIRC.
