Residents of North Ohioville Road, New Paltz, NY are subject to constant firearm use between 9am and 4pm Wednesday through Sunday, year round, shot rains down all over the place within the confines of Mid Hudson Sporting Ground.

I feel fine about it. As I don't consider Muslim or those who follow the Islamic faith to be enemies of myself or the Unite States...

I see the little compound that they have created as no different, than those found in the Western United States... Such as Radical-"Mormon" camps, or radical Libertarian groups found in Idaho.

What upsets me is the bigoted propaganda that is plastered across the net (from all sides) with little to no facts (note everything in the article is hearsay*). This type of garbage only encourages fear-mongering and a further divide between people.

I'd love to hear the not so crazy christians speaking out against their nutso brethren but they don't do so often. Nope, the crazies are out there raising 27 million bucks for a museum that shows the literal biblical interpretation of history, complete with displays that show dinosaurs coexisting with humans but I don't hear any moderate christians speaking out about the silliness. So, muslims have no lock on craziness no matter who chooses to speak out against whom...

Yes you can. Look up FFL(Federal Firearms License) and goto the class three license. You can get automatic rifle/pistols, silencers, explosives, etc. All you have to do is apply and pay the fees. The fees cost more for bigger boom makers.

I'm gonna be getting my FFL(Arms Dealer) soon so if anyone needs anything for before the end of the world gets here let me know.

Isn't that a bit of an exaggeration? Aren't there lots of people who dissent, and who express dissent, who are not presently having their homes besieged by the federal government?

The MOVE incident was obviously a tragic overreaction. The Branch Davidians should have been handled differently. But I think it's a mistake to take a handful of government errors and extrapolate them into a claim that government doesn't tolerate dissent. I'd bet one could find plenty of people in Idaho who have never been hassled, much less besieged. Seems to me, based on the evidence, that people are pretty free to think what they want and live how they want.
