Looked pretty big. Anybody have the details. Occurred about 4:30 between stair-master and Uberfall.

Seems that nobody got hurt?

Nobody hurt. It was right at the base of Nemesis/Midnight Cowboy, and we were there all day. It was big and completely hollow inside, and around 10AM gave a good creak and moved about 5 degrees, and which point we went over to check it out. It didn't seem quite ready to go - but you could see the bark on the downhill side starting to buckle and you could see straight through it. Later on we were on Grimace Face just around the corner when it went. I was on the ground and my partners were up above. It was pretty awesome - it fell and knocked into another huge tree downslope and just about disintigrated, leaving a 15 foot or so stump. The Ranger truck was just driving by at the time.

Did it make a noise?

Of course not. Unless someone heard it, then yes, it did.
