I'd be in if you did it on the clisterf#$k weekend; that's my only free one in Sept/Oct. Bummed I missed the 19th...I bailed on my Tri and went kayaking instead (maybe I should be loggin in here more than every 4 months these days!). Had I known, with my better, smarter half out of the country and off the grid, Ida been all o'er that!!!

I'm up for road too.

I might be up for it ... road or offroad.

Welcome back to the shitty weather of the east coast.

It's gonna be mountain (well, Carriage Roads + 0.5 miles of single track). Joe K has a preference for 5-6 October, but that weekend is just hell in disguise in New Paltz.

Anyone else have a preference for last week of September or week after Columbus Day ? Speak up, or I'll have to make the decision in tyrannical fashion.

Well, the there was enough input I did not need to be too much of a tyrant..

The weekend of 13-14 October is the winner. The fall colors should be much nicer than next weekend anyway.

So, the exact date is to follow, but I'm leaning toward Saturday, 13 October. Any dissent ?

Please advise if you want to attend so I know who to expect.

Oooh, that is so not true! There are perfectly normal - and legal - reasons for why I am craving chocolate and having violent mood swings.
I have every confidence WADA will not find anything suspicious in my test results.

What WOULD female racers dope with, really? It's not like elevated levels of testosterone could be explained away as natural.

The 13th is the Golf Tourney at 2:30pm. Perhaps a morning tour, or, a Sunday ride?

Is there anyone else who wants to do both ? I have no problem with Sunday to avoid any potential conflict if that works best.

The weather seems to suggest we do this Sunday, so Sunday it is.

I'm not going to make the drive up unless there is someone else committed to ride.

I will come up if there is at least 1 other person willing to tag along.

Tim, looks like I'll have to drop out this time. You should come up tho. It's going to be the peak color weekend, I believe.

At this point I have no confirmations for the ride and no climbing partner for Monday, so I'm cancelling the Tour de Gunks.

In addition, the triathlon has several miles of trail near Spring Farm/Bonticue tied up for the day.

Maybe next year...

Hey Tim et al.,

So sorry that I disappeared for a while this fall. It took me some time to settle in at the new job and all.

I haven't been riding that much here - but I did get out for a short roadie ride yesterday. It was 35 degrees. I'm in shock! I had neoprene socks on, but got the screaming barfies anyway.
