Loc: a heavily fortified bunker!
Dawn was that you and Steven up on Eyesore last weekend? Thought I recognized you, wasn't sure. Seems like I always come across your preserve pass and backpack at the bottom of some climb I'm doing, too.

Dawn, I will look out for a Gunks.com shirt then I will be the big chick with long red hair in a braid and wearing a bright orange ball cap. Looks to be such a pretty course. All finishers get a cowbell - gotta have more cowbell.
Steven, Todd and I were on Eyesore on Sunday but 2 of the 3 of us were on the ground at any given time.
Lisa, I'll look for you. I think I'm wearing grey shorts and a light green shirt and possibly a blue hat with mosquito netting. Some fairly recent photos of me here: http://dawnalguard.com/climbing/2007/04/whole-enchilada.html I'm the one with the white helmet/sticking her tongue out.

Congrats to Dawn for finishing her first trail race/first 50K at Pinelands on Sunday! Steve finished the 50-miler in impressive time also. Results are not posted yet so I do not know how I did overall, just that I was SLOW! It was lovely course and a very well organized race. The ales on tap at the finish line feast were delicious.
Steve came in 4th overall and got to take home a unique looking plaque for winning his age group.
Lisa is a hell of a hill hiker. It seemed like for a long time I was running and she was hiking and I wasn't gaining any ground on her. Then I was completely dead and she swooped past me to an impressive finish. I need to learn to pace myself and churn up those hills like she does.
They ran out of beer!!!! (but they brought more in later so I did finally get one)

You were doing really well for your first run at that distance is what you were, babe - especially since you had not even run marathon distance before. Nice going for Steve too - 4th overall and 1st age group. Good thing they organized more beer or there would have been some angry ringing of cowbells.
Thanks. In case it's not obvious, you're the friend at the finish line. It really meant a lot to me that you guys were there. Even though we just met, the few times we touched base on the run made me feel like I had a support system.
