Yes I was touched you meant Nate and I. I have always felt a little lonely at the few races I have done alone where none of my ultra friends are racing and no Nate at the finish line. It is nice to have at least one person there know your name.
Two of my ultrarunning friends will be doing VT100 too so there will be a nice group of crew and pacers to hang out with.

VT100's going to be fun, especially for me, since I'm not running.

Congrats, Lisa and Dawn, on the Pineland Farms run! Lisa, I agree, running alone is a challenge. My wife and I are running Finger Lakes together.... but because we're making an extended vacation out of it, she won't be able to take time off for VT 100. I really looked forward to seeing her at the start of every lap of Umstead. It will be a challenge going 100 at VT without her.

No Finger Lakes for me this year - I go away for enough races already this year so will stay local and put in 3 back-to-back-to-back days.
I did the FL 50K a few years ago and found the course pretty but the continuous mud made for tough going. Hope it's drier for you two.
As Dawn says, we must meet up in VT. I need to reserve motel rooms for me and crew - where is everyone staying? I was thinking of staying in the town of Woodstock.
