We will soon be the owners of a vacation home in Esopus (we still have our land, no time to build a house right now). I need some recommendations for the following services:

1. Commercial-type cleaning service to clean the house top to bottom (not a casual maid service).
2. Landscaping maintenance company for mowing our large lawn.
3. In-Ground pool maintenance service.
4. Contractor who can rip up old carpet and install wood or pergo floors.
5. Someone we can call in the winter to plow our long driveway if we get heavy snow.

Although, I can't recommend anyone for those services since Kerhonkson is a bit far from there...

But, for #4, ripping up carpet is one of the EASIEST things you can do! Just pull it up in a corner and start rolling towards the door...
For the floors, we installed the Ikea version of pergo/laminate and it is really quick and easy. Took Smike and I about 4 hours to do an entire room and that includes beer breaks, lunch, ADD, etc!
