Help my daughter's band, The Distraction, compete in a Battle of the Bands!

The deal is that folks vote for bands on the internet. If they win the contest, my daughter becomes rich and famous and buys me a chalet in the Tetons and then you're all invited...

You can go to the following link, which is The Distraction's page on Kicknote, the organization running the contest. If you think the link will automatically drain your bank account into mine---a lovely thought, by the way---then just go to http://www.kicknote.com and either scroll your way to The Distraction your own self, or just click the "vote now" button in the upper right-hand corner. The advantage of going to the Distraction page first is that you can listen to clips of three of their songs and see if you actually want to vote for them. Or you can go to their page on myspace, http://www.myspace.com/thedistraction , and listen to some of their stuff there.

Voting is a slightly involved process that attempts to prevent individuals from voting many times over. But if you can climb medium fifth class or beyond, and nowadays everyone can, then you can handle it.

So, go forth and ballotize!

Empicard, thanks for the heads-up. I fixed the link by putting a space in. It seems to me this is a bug in the routine that creates links out of typed URL's, not automatically stripping punctuation from the end of the URL.
