in the midst of a hissy, gear was forgotten (by me, primarily) at the base of Chapel Pond Slab on Saturday, July 19.
It's not even my gear! Mostly Camalots and Aliens, I think, plus a handful of tricams, a gear sling, and the zip off legs of a pair of pants. most of it is marked with white and orange tape.
we went back sunday morning but it was already gone.

I'm trying to figure out the face of the guy to whom you borrowed the rack when you told/will tell him where is his rack ...?

The clue to it being probable you'll get the gear back is that the pants parts was taken along too. A person intent on thievery would surely leave those behind to taunt you.....

I have faith you'll hear back soon. Don't forget to check in with the local place someone might drop them at, like gear shop or whatever.

Most excellent to have recovered the stuff! Terrie was prescient in her remark that a thief would have left the pants legs.

My own memory is quite hazy, but didn't the pepper tequila incident occur hours after? Personally, I think serranos are nicer to have than worms in the bottle, although I think they should have used the same two chiles for about a gallon of tequila.
