The way that rock is striated, it looks a lot like that big section of tipped over cliff just off to the left of the carriage road, before you get to the Million Dollar boulder problem (as you're heading into the Trapps). Probably not it, but it does look like the climber is free-soloing it, correct?
It could be that cliff if John was sitting in a helicopter to get that angle.
I know of only a few places that you can get that kind of angle on the cliff, some on the preserve property and some not.
