Perhaps the choicest such vehicle, if great size isn't taken into account, is a pimped-up Hummer H1. The Ford F-550 has only half the ground clearance of the former and has lesser specifications in similar categories.
That being said, I have to hand it to MisterE for his Stealth Climber, a superb piece of homemade work. Empicard's commentary on this vehicle is a good example of negative-as-positive slang, developed in recent decades -- it's sick, meaning very good.

I would love the opportunity to climb any one of their amazing routes with them out in Red Rocks. That would be a great day climbing.

Jim, forget that POS.

4WD Sprinter. It uses the same 5 cylinder power plant, with which I got about 25 mph driving 90 in Utah last week. In town, the motor electronically turns off extra cylinders. You can get the 4WD from Europe, and have Sportsmobile make it into a five star home away from home.

The high roof on the sprinter means that I, at 6'4", can stand upright inside of the thing...

It's #1 on my wish list.

A Google search tells that both Mercedes-Benz and Dodge manufacture a Sprinter. Which one do you have in mind?

Dodge assembles the Sprinters that are shipped to the USA by Mercedes Benz.
