According to neice, The Black Dike has seen its first ascent of the season. How much longer 'till we have ice that most of us are actually able to climb? Any predictions? Or at least some pictures posted of top roping on dead trees, or some other form of ice training? Winter is fast approaching, everyone get ready.

No photos, sorry, but 2 x 35' of solid, dead white oak* this afternoon means the pre-season fun has begun. It was a bit uncomfortable in my ice gloves at 60+ degrees though.
