Great stuff to see all these old pictures of classic lines! Unfortunately many of us didn't get to legally climb at Skytop. So Rick, what is your avatar picture? Is that a gunks route?

Looks like High E and those boots look like the old Royal Robbins things, I think made by Galibrier(sp?). Forget the real name but loved how the rubber came off in chunks! Good shoe for standing in slings :-)
'Course I might be wrong on both counts. Props for the old tapers and hexes. Got a box of them in the basement tht haven't seen light in 20 years.
