Sure, she proves she's ignorant, petty, uneducated, and vindictive pretty much every time she opens her mouth, but adding her radical right wing noise and channeling vile people like Glenn Beck does indeed harm what should be informed political debate. She's certainly been one of the voices promulgating the myths and lies about the various health care reform proposals. Although originally voiced by Gingrich and Beck, "death panels" didn't take off in the public consciousness until the Wicked Witch of the North's Facebook posting. That's not harmless nor amusing.

Sure, the thought of her assuming the presidency is appalling. But do you think that gal is still influential and/or "relevant"?
