Found a dense deposit of bird droppings and hair balls on P2 of Higher Stannard, on a little ledge, under a small overhang. Were peregrines known to be nesting there this past season?

No. Bird droppings from raptors and owls end up on the cliff at times, especially on climbs without much traffic. To wit, on my first trip up Birdland I found a fistful of owl turds on that left hand jug above the crux roof. I was grossed out but I also learned a valuable lesson about the unintended impact of convenient toprope anchors have on the upper pitches of otherwise classic routes.
For what it's worth, it appears most folks rap off after P1; P2 and 3 don't show much sign of traffic--good amount of lichen on P2 and mossed-in horizontals on P3.
