We're on the same page in regards to Tivoli Bay. Very popular for ice boating. Ice sailing history back to the victorian age, Rockefellers, Vanderbilts etc. Occasionally, they bring out the big guns. The really large ice boats that carry passengers as well as crew. The spot I mentioned about at Thomas Bull Park in Montgomery, would be just the ticket. You park very nearby, a phone call there would give you the update on conditions. No Zamboni, but they keep it clear once the snow flies. Wonderful dog park right across the driveway as well, should you be a dog owner. RC
