This was in a recent mag/catalog. It's killing! me - I recognize the features - the horizontal with the little hold below her feet, and the vertical rail, and I think I've climbed it (I can almost feel the spot just above her left hand), but I can't put my finger on it.

Could be a zillion places but I think it looks like something at J-Tree. Julie, maybe you are getting like me and can now enjoy lots of alzheimer's on-sights!

After zooming in on the picture and examining the texture of the rock, I agree with Chip in that this is not our familiar conglomerate, rather a coarse igneous rock. That company is based in northeastern Oregon

Looks like something very familiar at Lumpy Ridge, RMNP.

Yeah, it's definitely granite; possibly Josh, Idyllwild, or even Woodson, but could also be granite in NH. I don't think it's the Valley. I've never been to Lumpy, AOR. It just looks so familiar, it's killing me!

I have a weird memory, Chip, there are things I remember way too well after way too long, and others of which I remember nothing aside from the bare fact of having climbed it before. So I have proudly claimed some Alzheimer's onsights.

Don't think it's Josh rock. I would guess City of Rocks, ID or perhaps Yosemite.

So who's gonna e-mail the company and find out ?
