Volunteers needed for following categories, please sign up for one and e-mail us at gcc@gunksclimbers.org, we will get back to you.

1. food preparing needed: 5 people grilling, preparing, mixing,

2. food serving 5 people

3. beverages 4 people (serve beer)

4. trash / recycling 3-4 people

5. policing / parking 3-4 people

6. tickets 3-4 people (collect entrance fee)

7. raffles, speech making 4 people (collect raffle money/hand out prizes)

8. support for sound stage etc. (AV and electrical requirements)

Location Address: Williams Lake Road (off Binnewater Rd.) Rosendale NY 12472 (please note: there is Bouldering on site!)

raise funds for operating costs of opening bouldering Giants Ledges / Waterworks

Is this going to be a kid friendly event?

I've got to make a correction to the original post - end time of party is 10 pm.

expected attendees more like 250 - 300.
as far as when the WW is opened? that will depend to a fairly large extent on when we can come up with the money, and then there are other factors and then there can be surprises as the process is happening so it can be hard to give a definite answer.
kid friendly? - I would say moderately so. depends on how many other parents show up with kids. I know there will be a few but probably not too many. There will be no special activities planned for kids.
we have a lot of volunteers already, thanks to those who signed up! could use a few more.
