I'd be happy to be enlightened about single raps from the top with double 60's; I only know High E, Arrow & Limelight, Credibility Gap, and Madame G's.

The wall to the left of Modern Times, which includes routes such as No Glow, Jim's Gem, etc, requires two raps with double 60s I believe. Same with the area around Middle Earth, Moonlight, Thin Slabs. I also don't think you can rap off around Shockleys in a single rap.

Well, thinking of things you can do bottom to top in one pitch, not sure about raps but I assume they work, I know Son of Easy O and Airy Aria also go...

Bonnie's, Ursula, Double Crack, Alpine Diversions areas.

You cannot rap Shockley's in a single go. Trust me on this.

From Shockley's I always head (climber's) left to the bolted rappel above Calisthenic and Ribs. Always nice to make it down in one shot versus three short rappels.

You can do a single rap (with two ropes!!) from any route that ends at the level of the GT ledge, basically.

That's where the Madame G rap is. And the whole Son of Easy O/ City Lights/ Frog's Head wall. And the Arrow wall. And Ursula and Bonnie's and Double Crack. And Airy Aria, if you're descending from the GT ledge and not the top.

For any route that goes all the way to the top of the cliff, you need more than one rap. Unless I'm mistaken, High E is one of those routes, and you cannot make it all the way down in one rap. Also, regarding the Ribs rap, I've done this in one rap with two ropes several times, but I always head down skier's right through a notch towards the bottom so that the rap ends around the corner and uphill from Ribs. I've never been sure the rap would quite reach the bottom of Ribs.

There's one in the Nears, not sure the name but to the right of that massive chossy buttress, it's a mostly free space overhanging rap. Are you a nighttime sport rappeller or something? bwaha. -Nate

Ped might be referring to the Fat City rappel. Wire cable sling high in a tree. Free-hanging virtually to the ground.

i once climbed with a partner that had double 70's. we got off high-e in one rap with rope to spare...also got of seneca in one rap as well with those double 70's.

granted, 459ft of rope is A LOT to carry, but it seems worth it when you have that magic carpet to the ground and everyone else is doing it in 2 raps.
