This morning on the Gary Bischoff show a Mohonk Preserve neighbor and two title experts (New York State Supreme Court) talked about the various lawsuits initiated by the Mohonk Preserve.

The key topics covered in the one hour show included:

1. Why the Mohonk Mountain house created the Mohonk Trust.
2. Taxes, preservation, and land acquisition tactics.
3. The relationship between the Shawangunk Conservancy, Friends of the Shawangunks and the Mohonk Preserve.
4. The Mohonk Preserve creating phantom chains of title from parcels that they have no title to.
5. Where does the money come from to initiate these lawsuits.

It is a radio program out of Kingston NY. It is the hope of the MPNA that a show can be done in conjunction with the Mohonk Preserve. We would love to hear straight from the horses mouth how Louise Haviland was a "Willing Seller"....... as well as debate many other topics.

And everyone else... sorry... I've been trying to stay out of this mess, but since MPNA has blatantly refused to answer the question, my curiosity is just totally piqued now!! I wanna know!!!!!

Ms. Haviland was never a seller to begin with. The mortgage was sold to the Preserve by a third party.

Unless you can prove that third party sold the mortgage under duress, there is no discrepancy in the statement that MP only buys from "willing sellers".

The MP as the owner of the mortgage, foreclosed on Ms. Haviland. Maybe the foreclosure is unfair. Maybe it's more than reasonable. You have not proved it one way or another. But it has nothing to do with "willing sellers".

It must be a real bitch to be AG these days. When one of the major points supposedly supporting your position is shown, repeatedly, to be fallacious and total bull shit, it's almost impossible to back out of that corner.

The graceful thing for AG to do at this point is admit that their complaint about the Haviland foreclosure and their hissy-fit over the "willing sellers" statement are nothing but refined horse shit of no substance, apologize, and drop it. It's unlikely their egos and sense of outrage, to say nothing of hubris, will allow that.

I just listened to the program. Sounded like a replay of the MPNA posts in this thread.


And the Preserve was never given the opportunity to be present or to respond to any of the charges leveled by the guests on the show. The host admitted he never thought to contact the Preserve so as to assure at least equal time.
