Is anyone a member on that forum? If so, could you possibly help me become a member? They seem to have a weird policy about current members of the forum sponsoring new members. I'm coming back east for a week in late Sept and I plan on spending a couple days in the Gunks and a few days in the Daks (peakbagging). I have a few questions for folks over there.

You may also want to try ADK forum or ADKhighpeaks Forum . Both are very active forums with pretty much open registration. I am sure your questions will be answered there. (adkforum.com has a climbing section...I'd like to see that section get more active)

Or you could ask your questions here and I could probably answer them.

RR - I think they got tired of trolls and it's an attempt to keep them out.
