I have a couple clues. One will most certainly give the route away, so I'll start with the one that won't give it away: this route is closer to my previous route than your have been guessing.

I thought of another clue that wont give it away outright: when I said that this would be harder, that also applies to the grade.

Also, Franks line of thinking will get you really close!

I was also thinking Moby Dick/Android, but that answer seems inconsistent with the various clues.
