Does anyone have any info for climbing in costa rica? Were gonna be in central C R for a week then on the pacific coast for another week and was looking to get some climbing in.

I was there in late June and early July. Had researched a bunch about climbing, but came up empty. There is some, but most if not all is not easily accessible and you'd need a knowledgeable local to guide you lest you be a tasty snack for local wild life :P

Yeah i saw some stuff on rc.com mostly surf reports but was looking to get some more detailed info. Maybe forced to actually relax on this trip. We have family down there so hopefully we won't become snacks for the local fauna. Gonna be in santa maria de dota. Also heard of a climbing gym in san jose gotta check with them.

Missing snow is a sad event in my book, but to each his/her own. Now, if you said I could miss some summer heat with a climbing trip, I am all in.
