Woot, RC! I'm getting psyched for the season - summer has been too long! To all haters - rock season around here is 12 months, while the snow season only 6 and only for the intrepid ones willing to travel 6 hours and up.

Nope, I wouldn't wish snow on anybody. I'm wishing it on me, wait, that's not right, I'm wishing it for me and anyone else who has boards nailed to their toes.

Two feet of wet glop on Whiteface Auto Rd. Teletips.com offered reports from a number of locations, but seems Whiteface had the most. Bodes well for the coming season. I've new Voile Drifters waiting for binding inserts, wax and I'm ready to go.

...read in some forum that hunter got like 4" at the summit last Saturday.. Any chance it picked up some more by this Saturday? Or has it all melted away? Not looking to ski, just test out some snow equipment... Any advice would be great ...(maybe further north but not all the way to ADK's) Best of luck to all this season
