Mim old hand Registered: 01/27/00 Posts: 988 Loc: Gunks	Completed the race and all of my goals! It was REALLY HARD for me... the last two miles almost did me in... My goals were: 1) not to re-injure my Achille's tendon 2) Keep a steady pace 3) Run, not walk, the entire race (I did however really really slowed down on the last hill for the last 10 yards). 4) Finish the race 5 Do the race in 2 hours or less (did 1h40) If I can keep on running, I would love to do next year's race! _________________________ Mim

Nicely done! It's a great feeling when you surpass your goals. Now that I know about this race I think I'll try it next year. As for upcoming races, there is the lovely 20K race 'After the Leaves Have Fallen' in Minnewaska on November 14. It is run on carriage trails and is very well organized.
