I was thinking of calling Greek Peak to see how the x-c area is. It is much closer for me and I helped build some of the trails 30 some years ago. Haven't been back since college. Might even see if I can throw a rope over some ice up that way and try out my Shunt on a frozen rope.

There is still some snow at Minnewaska around the lake and from the lower lot to the uppper lot via the Sunset carriage road...

I hear rumors of Laurel Ledge Road being good...as long as you don't mind the walk down Under/Overcliff to get there.

19 days out on skis for me this year, putting them away for the season.
