Hi Everyone.

I was able to go see Julie today at Westchester Medical Center-she was in good spirits and her prognosis is also good. Her back surgery and ankle surgery went really, really well. She will be transferred to a rehabilitation facility in Boston sometime mid week. It was so good to see her!

Please send her all your best for a speedy recovery and safe journey to Boston.

Best news ever, Julie. I'm not certain we've actually met but I've been thinking about you and hoping for you to heal well.

Yes, we're all rooting for her. Is all that medical work going to bankrupt her?

Thanks, Dana, for the great news. Julie is no weeny and I'm sure the rehab folk will be impressed by her work ethic. It is so crucial now to get at it as hard as you can, Julie, without compromising the surgery sites. Range of motion now will pay you big dividends down the road, even as it totally sucks to do the work. All those years of becoming a tough MFer will now really pay off!

I haven't been on here much, but have been keeping up with events. Glad to hear she is making good progress. Hoping for a full recovery.
