Slightly thinner crack ... Illusion Dweller 5.10b

I did that when I first started climbing. I'd only climbed at the Gunks and Watchung. I was in San Diego and knew a guy who was a guide. I had a horrible time with the jamming, but popped right over the roof at the top. The guide was astounded, he thought the jamming was the easy part. Non-gunks sissy.

I had the same experience. People were going on about the roof. "Watch out! It's brutal. It's totally the crux!"

For a Gunkie it was phff! nothing.

Now ... the first 15 feet of thin crack with that full double rack ... that was hard!

Just something to get the week started ...
