Morning from Jenny Lake campsite #3

Here's some contrast for all these wonderful outdoor shots.

This is a photo of the grand opening of the CCC gym in NYC. Late 1989 I believe.

Notice there was originally only one wall on the north side. The wall is not yet surfaced and we had a small number of original Entreprise holds.

You can see the original hardwood flooring of the handball court.

To the far right, notice the odd design of a "chimney." This was built so that climbers could have an easy way to climb up and set top-ropes!

Here's the gym two years later.

This was taken during the gym's first ever competition.

The climber is on the newest part of the gym to be built at the time.

The old north wall is seen in the background. You can see the surfacing peeling off in spots. It got a whole new make-over (resurfacing and redesign) when the cave and adjacent wall was installed (the slab and chimney was removed).

Here's a picture from Camp 2 on the Polish/False Polish route, about 19,300 feet. Looking to the south at climbers making their way up.
