I haven't been climbing at the Gunks since 2003, and I'm heading back up there soon for some easy leads. Looking forward to it!

I've got old notes scribbled in my Williams guide as to the locations of Rappel stations in the Trapps and Near Trapps, but they are dated at this point.

Is there an updated list of Rap stations somewhere? Of course I generally walk off if I'm anywhere close to the Uberfall, but it's good to have a list.

Anything else significant change in the past 8 years?

Thanks!

There's a list for the Trapps here ... scroll down, and the routes with two asterisks after them have rap descents.

The Nears is less organized, but there are bolts at Birdland, Main Line, Easterime Too, Roseland, and ....

Thanks for the replies. The list on "mountainproject.com" matches the notes in my black Dick book almost exactly. Oh, and I just read that there was some big rockfall on Hawk. News to me.
Anything else I should know? I'm assuming there are no cliff closings this time of year...

Well, there are no seasonal cliff closings that I'm aware of, but there is Kent's/the landowner's closing in the Nears. FWIW.

Just to clarify on Julie's post...

the anchors on Birdland, Mainline, Roseland, and Eastertime Too are convenience TR anchors at the top of the first pitches only. I wouldn't say they are rappel anchors, because none of those have rappel anchors on top. Actually Mainline did when I last did it, but it was very ratty.
