With all the rain over the past few weeks, what are the cliff conditions like at the Trapps? Any places I should avoid? I'm planning a trip on Thursday 10/6, and it's a looong drive, so I would like to plan ahead. Thanks!!!

A good rule of thumb is that when the road is dry so are the faces of the cliffs. The cracks will stay muddy for a while after all of this wetness.

More rain tonight and Tuesday. Then sunny, high 60's to low 70's through the weekend into next week. Combined with the holiday weekend, rain induced cabin fever, it's enough to lure out the masses. Best to plan on walking a bit to get away from the maddening crowds and get up reeeaaaaal eeaarrrlyyy as parking could also be at a premium. If Thursday is the only day of your visit, it should all be good and crowd free. Enjoy
