Dudes!

I recently acquired an old school #1 camalot with the plastic tubes and a pretty crappy "trigger bar". its the type of camalot that you can not put a sling on. i was wondering if anyone has a trashed camalot jr, the ustemed type with the plastic thumb loop that allows it to be slung. number 1 size would be great but i think .75 might work as well...

step 1 - buy plastic tubing at hardware store
step 2 - cut to fit cable
step 3 - split down middle to place over cable
step 4 - glue tubing in place (optional)
step 5 - wrap tubing with tape (electrical or duct)
step 6 - tie webbing sling on (i use the skinnier 9/16 stuff)

OR

put a small quicklink on the cable and tie a sling to that

(i once thought about using plasti-dip instead of tubing but never bothered to try because the tubing has always worked really well.)
