Just wanted to say happy happy, joy joy to all of gunks.com

I hope this holiday season is spent under a tree bivi-ing at the base of some wonderful route you plan to do tomorrow or the next day.

I hope your rope and gear wrap a splitter crack that is the gift of a lifetime.

I hope your climbing partners are close to your heart as you remember adventures had and dream of sugar plum adventures to come.

And finally, for everyone who doesn't have enough: We will gladly share our ramen noodles with you. Anywhere. Anytime.

Peace and blessings.

Dana

Good health to all for the new year! May your joints not ache and tendons not burn, may your muscles be nice and taut!

As my father would say, "One can be the richest person in the world, but without health, one has nothing."

Dana, according to the time stamp on your post, you were about 3 hours late on that soltice greeting! Jeez Louise!

Thanks all! Here's to the return of the sun, and to good companions to keep you company until it arrives.

Cheers!

The "official" UBB time is UT, formerly Greenwich Mean Time. Here's what you do to get it on Eastern Time. At the top of your webpage, click on My Stuff, then on Edit Preferences in the dropdown list. Third from the bottom on that latter page, you'll see Choose your time offset in hours: (..,-2,-1,0,1,2,..).
Put -5 in that field, then Submit. You're all set now for Eastern Standard Time. Don't forget to change -5 to -4 when Daylight Time arrives, then back to -5 in the fall, etc.
