I don't have PK's phone number handy, so I can't answer your first Q. But I do know that "closed" means CLOSED. And you can be ticketed if you're in there when they are closed, regardless of how you entered.

For what it's worth they were open 1-1-12

we climbed Jan 1 as well at the Psycho Crack area with no issue. Several parties out that day. it was a lovely start to the year (but not as good as ice would have been)
