The ravines are pretty deep, but the alpine garden to the summit is pretty sad. They really havn't got that much snow this year, and what has come down on the summit just gets blown into the ravines.

It's north of here. But then, nearly everything is north of here.

Gwen, what's the quality of the surrounding rock in the first picture? Looks like it would be a phenomenal link-up of the ice ribbon and the rock peak above. Egads, you've got yourself an enviable playground down there!

definitely those two climbs are on the Icefields parkway. Is the second pic Mount Elliot Gully?

Both climbs are in the Canadian Rockies.

The first is Polar Circus. You can't see all of the upper pitches, but you can get a feel for the scale of the thing. Around 10 pitches. As someone said, it's on the Icefields Parkway.

The second is Anorexia Nervosa, in the Ghost Wilderness east of Canmore and accessible only by 4WD. The area is full of climbs, and gets very little snow accumulation because of winds.
