I just remember him as being there, but it could have been Ravitch, they have almost the same stutter. Bill used to stutter when he was in the midst of perfecting an insult. I just noticed Ravitch in that photo today.

"Bragg would be taller ..." The fellow standing next to Mike Freedman is taller than he is. I think Mike is notably taller than I somewhere over 5'.11". So I do not think we can count him out based on height by any means. But if that imposter is someone else in painters pants, who is it?

The way I remember it was as follows: I was easily able do Low X without the need for tape and asked Brag and Rominson if they wanted to try it. They weren't interested. It was soon after that that Robinson invited me to Skytop and we did Jeckel and Hide, Burning Bush, and Mellow Yellow. On Burning Bush Robinson took two wires nuts and threaded them through each other so he could place the critical nut out of the crux. I thought that was cheating and was not sure what to think about it.

One day I told Bill Ravitch I was going to solo Low Exposure. He said "I'll watch". It was after he said that that I changed my mind about that idea.

Thanks for bringing back some memories, Don. I started in fall '79 and the crowds at the uber were always fun to watch, especially when Thom would drive the pick-up through and everyone had to get rope out of the way without dropping the unsuspecting leader above.
