Mim old hand Registered: 01/27/00 Posts: 988 Loc: Gunks	This year, bowhunting in NYS starts October 1st. Make sure you wear bright hunter orange when hiking, especially off trails. On the Mohonk Preserve, it starts Oct. 13. There is a youth-only gun hunting weekend Oct. 6-8 all over NYS. Be visible and be safe! _________________________ Mim
