I can't believe it took me this long to visualize that part of the photo/pitch...then realized it when TJ talked about the cliff angle!

That part of the BT open corner pitch is obviously not that steep, but looks almost dead vertical in the photo.

With that being said, it IS an excellent photo...

Thank you AOR. I think TJ was specifically referring to the angle in the Alphonse photo. It looks like my partner is eating a hot dog and reading a good book - but those of us who have been there know that it's not as comfortable as it looks in the photo. The stance is fine, but it's not the ideal place to hangout with your partner.

It's really not too bad if you set it as a hanging belay, provided you have the big cams needed.

This might be a bit unfair but I am sure someone on this site will know the route:

I don't think it's the Trapps, or the Nears. Definitely not Lost City, or Sky Top. Sun Bowl, Triple Right, Peter's Kill are all unlikely given the hanging belay. I would have to guess it is Millbrook. Given the angle, I'm guessing it's hard. Maybe the Happiness wall?

Yer gonna have to study really hard to get this one...
